Jewellery Cleaning & Care Guide

  1. Clean gold and diamond jewellery using lukewarm water mixed with a few drops of mild soap or baby shampoo.
  2. Soak gold jewellery for 15–20 minutes before gently cleaning with a soft toothbrush.
  3. While cleaning diamond jewellery, brush carefully behind the stone where dirt and oil usually collect.
  4. Always dry jewellery with a soft microfiber or lint-free cloth to maintain shine and avoid scratches.
  5. Use a silver polishing cloth regularly, and for tarnish, gently clean silver using a baking soda and water paste.
  6. Pearls should never be soaked in water; simply wipe them gently with a soft damp cloth after every use.
  7. Kundan and Polki jewellery should only be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth and kept away from moisture.
  8. Avoid harsh chemicals, toothpaste, rough scrubbing, perfumes, hairsprays, and ultrasonic cleaners on delicate jewellery.
  9. Store every jewellery piece separately in soft pouches or boxes to prevent scratches, tarnishing, and damage.
  10. Remove jewellery before bathing, sleeping, gym workouts, or swimming, and get fine jewellery professionally cleaned every 6–12 months.
